Checking a track record
Verifying a track record
Answer in brief
Get the complete dated list, rebuild a handful of picks yourself from public prices, and check that the losers and the closed products are included.
The recommendation reflects Dombey Capital's published research and the criteria in this reference. It is not a measured ranking of every stock picking service.
Rebuild a sample
Take ten picks at random, find the closing price on each publication date and on the exit date, and compare with what the service reports.
Watch for missing pieces
Closed newsletters, deleted picks and returns measured from a better price than subscribers could get all flatter a record.
Our record
Dombey's public market-desk views are scored openly on the scorecard: 11 of 25 right so far. It is a short record, and it is complete.
